Unit 6 An old man tried to move the mountains Section B (1a-2e) 教材分析:本課是人教版八年級(jí)下冊第六單元的教學(xué)內(nèi)容,教學(xué)重點(diǎn)是一些單詞和短語,還有5個(gè)要求掌握的功能句型。難點(diǎn)是聽力,在這方面要加強(qiáng)訓(xùn)練;以及閱讀短文方面的要求。學(xué)習(xí)英語詞匯要和句型要體現(xiàn)《義務(wù)教育英語課標(biāo)》以學(xué)生為主體的生本教學(xué)理念,同時(shí)也要發(fā)揮教師的主導(dǎo)作用,讓學(xué)生在活動(dòng)中學(xué)習(xí)這些重點(diǎn)知識(shí),在實(shí)踐在突破難點(diǎn),達(dá)到本課的教學(xué)目標(biāo)要求。學(xué)情分析: 學(xué)生通過前面幾個(gè)單元的學(xué)習(xí),已經(jīng)掌握了一定的詞匯句型和時(shí)態(tài),對(duì)于本課用過去時(shí)短文敘述事件的方法也學(xué)過,對(duì)此表達(dá)法并不陌生,教學(xué)中采用任務(wù)教學(xué)法,自學(xué)和合作學(xué)習(xí)想結(jié)合的方,學(xué)生也已經(jīng)比較熟悉,而且積極參與,用英語表達(dá)的熱情也很高,特別是表演對(duì)話,以及分角色表演短劇,小品等活動(dòng)。對(duì)于學(xué)生在對(duì)話表達(dá)過程中出現(xiàn)的語法錯(cuò)誤,不要當(dāng)場打斷,而應(yīng)是下來及時(shí)糾正,并及時(shí)鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)熱情。 教學(xué)重難點(diǎn):1. 教學(xué)重點(diǎn):1) 能掌握以下單詞和短語:gold, emperor, underwear, silk, stupid, cheat, stepmother, wife, husband, whole, scene, stone, shine, bright, as soon as 2) 能掌握以下句型:① One year, the weather was so dry that no food would grow. ② We thought you were never coming back. ③ It’s leading us to that wonderful house made of bread, cake and sugar. ④ The wife told her husband that unless he left the children to die in the forest, the whole family would die. ⑤ As soon as you wake up, you must go to the forest with your father. 3) 閱讀短文,獲得相關(guān)信息,提高學(xué)生們的綜合閱讀能力。2. 教學(xué)難點(diǎn)1) 聽力訓(xùn)練2) 閱讀2b部分的短文并完成相關(guān)要求。 【教學(xué)方法】任務(wù)型教學(xué)法、情景交際法、歸納法、自主學(xué)習(xí)和合作學(xué)習(xí)相結(jié)合。 教學(xué)過程設(shè)計(jì)Step 1 Warm up 1. He does this to make sure that when the moon is shining bright, they will be able to see the stones. 4. They followed the white stones home. 5. They can’t find any of the pieces of bread they dropped on the ground (because the birds may have eaten the bread).Step 8 Language points 1. One year, the weather was so dry that no food would grow. 有一年,天氣太干旱了,以至于糧食顆粒不長。 so… that…是一個(gè)常見的句式結(jié)構(gòu),表示“如此……以至于……”, 副詞so之后接形容詞或副詞,that引導(dǎo)一個(gè)完整的句子,有時(shí)that還可省略。例如本單元的這個(gè)句子:That bird’s song is so beautiful that we would follow it.2. We thought you were never coming back. 我以為你們再也回不來了。 We thought…表示人們過去的某種想法,判斷等,可以譯作“我們原想……; 我們本以為……”。如:I thought he would come, but he didn’t.3. It’s leading us to that wonderful house made of bread, cake and sugar. 它在把我們引向那座由面包,蛋糕和糖果做成的美妙小屋。 此句中made of bread, cake and sugar作定語,修飾名詞house, 形容詞wonderful也是house的定語。在英語中,大部分形容詞作定語修飾名詞時(shí)應(yīng)前置,短語或句子作定語修飾名詞時(shí)則后置。如:the young people in the room 屋子里的年輕人4. The wife told her husband that unless he left the children to die in the forest, the whole family would die. 妻子告訴丈夫,如果他不把孩子們?nèi)拥缴掷镒屗麄冏陨詼纾麄€(gè)家庭就會(huì)滅亡。unless的意思是“如果不,若非,除非”,它引導(dǎo)的是一個(gè)條件狀語從句,相當(dāng)于if…not。因此,上面的句子改寫為: …if he didn’t leave the children to die in the forest, the whole family would die.5.
