鯨的體型是世界上存在的動(dòng)物中最大的,鯨是終生生活在水中的哺乳動(dòng)物,對(duì)水的依賴程度很大,以致它們一旦離開(kāi)了水便無(wú)法生活,鯨形狀像魚(yú),鼻孔在

鯨為適應(yīng)水中生活,減少阻力,它們的后肢消失,前肢變成劃水的漿板。身體成為流線型,酷似魚(yú)。因而它們的潛水能力很強(qiáng),小型齒鯨可潛至100-300米的水深處,停留4-5分鐘,長(zhǎng)須鯨可在水下300-500米處待上1小時(shí),最大的齒鯨--抹香鯨能潛至千米以下,并在水中持續(xù)2小時(shí)之久。
