Let’s have a try.新課展示 新課展示 【完成教材1a~1d的任務(wù)】1.認(rèn)真閱讀1a中所給的信息,然后用這些信息仿照給出的例句對(duì)大象和熊貓進(jìn)行比較,邀請(qǐng)幾位學(xué)生說(shuō)出自己所想的句子。2.請(qǐng)學(xué)生朗讀出1b方框中的數(shù)字,教師糾正讀音,為聽力做好準(zhǔn)備。3.聽錄音,標(biāo)出你所聽到的數(shù)字,集體核對(duì)答案,完成1c練習(xí)。4.再聽一遍錄音,用正確的數(shù)字來(lái)補(bǔ)全句子,請(qǐng)學(xué)生展示答案。5.再細(xì)心聽錄音并跟讀,整體感知對(duì)話。6.游戲接龍:根據(jù)聽力信息或自己熟知的有關(guān)熊貓的內(nèi)容,小組內(nèi)輪流說(shuō)出有關(guān)熊貓的句子,比一比誰(shuí)說(shuō)得多說(shuō)得好,邀請(qǐng)幾組學(xué)生來(lái)展示。【語(yǔ)法提要】1.many times more thanmany times more than意為“比……多很多倍”,是倍數(shù)的表達(dá)方式之一。英語(yǔ)中常用的倍數(shù)表達(dá)法:(1)“A+謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞+ 倍數(shù)+形容詞/副詞的比較級(jí)+ than +B”表示“A比B……多少倍”。例句:He runs three times faster than his brother.他跑得比他弟弟快三倍。新(2)“A+謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞+倍數(shù)+as+形容詞/副詞的原級(jí)+as+B”表示“A是B的多少倍……”。例句:His father is twice as tall as he.他父親的身高是他的兩倍。This tree is three times as tall as that one.這棵樹是那棵樹的三倍高。(3)“A+謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞+倍數(shù)+the height/weight/length … +of+B” 表示“A的高度/重量/長(zhǎng)度……是B的多少倍”。例句:This hill is four times the height of that small one.這座山的高度是那座小山的四倍。2.up toup to意為“到達(dá)(某數(shù)量、程度等);至多有;不多于”,其中to為介詞,后接名詞作賓語(yǔ)。例句:Up to ten people can sleep in this tent.這個(gè)帳篷最多能睡十人。Our football team played up to its best in the last match.我們的足球隊(duì)在上次比賽中發(fā)揮了最高水平。up to還可表示“(體力或智力上)能勝任;適于(做某事)”,后可接名詞或動(dòng)詞作賓語(yǔ)。常用于否定句。例句:He’s not up to the monitor.他無(wú)法勝任班長(zhǎng)。He’s not really up to seeing any visitors.他的身體不太適合見(jiàn)訪客。【問(wèn)題探究】根據(jù)漢語(yǔ)意思完成句子。1.他們的房間比我們的大兩倍。Their room is twice bigger than ours.2.在非洲的一些地區(qū),孩子最多受教育到12歲。In some areas of Africa, children get educated up to 12 years old.活學(xué)活練1.
