二、知識點(diǎn):
1.The girl could visit the sick kids in the hospital to cheer them up.這個女孩可以去醫(yī)院看望生病的孩子們使他們高興起來。
cheer up為動詞短語,意為“(使)變得更高興;振奮起來”。在短語中up為副詞,可接名詞或代詞做賓語。名詞做賓語既可以放在動詞與副詞之間,也可放在副詞之后,代詞做賓語只能放在動詞與副詞之間。
如:We all _____________ when we heard Li Na won the prize.
等我們聽到李娜贏得比賽時,我們都?xì)g呼了起來。
I tried my best to cheer my little brother up.我盡最大努力使我的弟弟高興起來。

拓展:cheer on 意思是“為 ……打氣,激勵…… ,向 ……喝彩”,是動副短語。
如:She did her best to cheer him on when he was about to give up.
當(dāng)他快要放棄時,她盡力鼓勵他。
The football fans cheered their favorite teams on. = The football fans cheered on their favorite teams.足球迷們?yōu)樗麄冏钕矚g的球隊歡呼加油。
cheer作可數(shù)名詞,意為“歡呼聲;喝彩聲”。 常用口語:Cheers! 干杯!
如:We can hear the cheers of students outside the gym.
我們在體育場外就能聽到學(xué)生的歡呼聲。
2. The boy could give out food at the food bank. 這個男孩可以在食物站分發(fā)食物。
give out是動詞短語,意為“分發(fā);散發(fā)”,同義詞組為hand up。在短語中out為副詞,可接名詞或者代詞做賓語,名詞做賓語既可放在動詞與副詞之間,也可放在副詞之后;代詞做賓語只能放在動詞與副詞之間。
如:The teacher asks me_____________the exam paper.老師讓我發(fā)試卷。
Here are some new papers. _____________.這兒有些新試卷,把它們發(fā)下去吧。
拓展: (1) give out還可意為“用完;耗盡”,為不及物動詞短語,主語是被用光、耗盡之物。
eg:Our food will give out.我們的食物要吃完了。
(2) give out意為“發(fā)出(光、熱等)”時,與give off同義。
eg:The flowers in my garden give out/off a sweet smell.
我花園里的花散發(fā)出芬芳的味道。
(3) give out意為“筋疲力盡”。
eg:The horse gave out.馬跑不動了。
give構(gòu)成的詞組有:give up 放棄 give in 屈服 give off 發(fā)出(氣味)give away 分發(fā),捐贈give back 歸還 give ... a hand 給予……幫助
3. The boy help to clean up the city parks.
clean up是動詞短語,意為“打掃干凈;清除干凈;
整理”,其中up為副詞,接名詞作賓語時,賓語可放在后邊也可放在中間;接代詞作賓語時,必須放在中間。
如:She _____________the kitchen now.=She is cleaning the kitchen up now.她現(xiàn)在正在打掃廚房。
The bedroom is too dirty, please_____________.這間臥室太臟了,請打掃干凈。
4.We need to come up with a plan for the City Park Clean -up Day. 我們需要為城市公園清潔日想出一個計劃。
