Try to help students preview some difficult expressions about mountain climbing,which is useful for the passage reading. Step 3 Reading 1. Show the new words and phrases on the screen:thick,include,condition,ocean,nature,force,succeed,achievement,southwestern;in the face of,the Pacific Ocean.
