At least nce a week after schl I g t my schl’s library t help tutr students in math. I check in at the main desk, and I pick up my badge: “Math Tutr”. It is quite an ld badge, which sme tutr made by hand years ag. I sit dwn at a desk, and I take ut my wn wrk. Sme days are quite slw, and I might as well get a little hmewrk dne while I’m waiting fr smene t help.
Smetimes, there is mre than ne persn wh requires help, and I just sit at the head f a table and supervise peple ding their hmewrk. I answer any questins that cme up alng the way. But I mstly wrk n my wn assignments, and they ask me fr help whenever they need it. I walk them thrugh a prblem, and they finish the rest f it themselves.
Hwever, ther times, there is just ne persn that cmes t me, and they are in need f mre than just hmewrk help. Perhaps they have missed a cuple days f schl, r they simply dn’t get the cncepts that the teacher is teaching, and need extra help. I sit dwn with them, and talk t them abut their prblem.
