Step 1 Preparatin
1. Present “l(fā)ve”, “l(fā)ike” and “dislike”
T: Hell, bys and girls. Tday we are ging t learn abut Task f Unit 4 My day. In this
perid, yu need t learn t write abut yur day at schl and yur likes and dislikes.
(1)_Explanatin.
Tell students that smiling faces stand fr likes and dislikes. Ask the students abut their likes and dislike. Help students give reasns f their likes and dislikes.
T: When we talk abut ur likes and dislikes, we can als use these three pictures. We use the laughing face fr “l(fā)ve”. We use the smiling face fr “l(fā)ike”. And we use the crying face fr “dislike”.（出示單詞lve, like和dislike）
T: “Lve” means “l(fā)ike smething very much” r “the thing yu like very much”. S, what des “dislike” mean?
T: Yes, yu’re s clever. “dis-” means “nt”. S “dislike” means “dn’t like smething” r “the thing yu dn’t like”.
(2) Exercise.
T: Can yu cmplete the tw sentences?
Daniel ____________ (like) basketball. He never plays it.
Aren’t yu happy with the plan? Tell me what yur ____________ (like) are.
T: Gd! In sentence ne, “dislike” is a verb. It means “desn’t like”. In sentence tw, “dislike” is a nun. It means “the things yu dn’t like”.
2. Talk abut the preparatins befre class
