Period 1 (Section A 1a-2c)設(shè)計(jì)說明 本課時(shí)采用情景教學(xué)模式,通過圖文導(dǎo)入社團(tuán)招聘和學(xué)生應(yīng)聘的情景,讓學(xué)生在參與、體驗(yàn)、合作中學(xué)習(xí)can的用法,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生逐步掌握本單元的主要語言知識(shí),并培養(yǎng)學(xué)生在具體語境中運(yùn)用語言知識(shí)進(jìn)行交際的能力。教學(xué)目標(biāo) 1. 知識(shí)目標(biāo): ?。?/span>1)掌握單詞和短語:guitar,sing,swim,dance,draw,chess,speak,join,club;play chess,speak English,play the guitar。 (2)掌握句型:—Can you...? —Yes,I can. /No,I can’t. —What club do you want to join? —I want to join...club. ?。?/span>3)掌握情態(tài)動(dòng)詞can的用法以及含有情態(tài)動(dòng)詞can的一般疑問句及其肯定與否定回答。 2. 能力目標(biāo): 能夠談?wù)撟约夯蛩怂鶕碛械哪芰Α酆靡约跋雲(yún)⒓拥纳鐖F(tuán)。 3. 情感目標(biāo): 指導(dǎo)學(xué)生積極與他人交流,相互學(xué)習(xí),相互幫助,共同提高,培養(yǎng)其團(tuán)隊(duì)精神。重點(diǎn)難點(diǎn) 1. 重點(diǎn): 掌握表達(dá)能力、社團(tuán)、愛好的單詞及句型。 2. 難點(diǎn): 掌握并運(yùn)用含有情態(tài)動(dòng)詞can的一般疑問句及其簡略回答。教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備 1. 準(zhǔn)備本課時(shí)所需實(shí)物或圖片。 2. 準(zhǔn)備1b、2a、2b的音頻文件、多媒體課件。教學(xué)過程 Step 1 Leading in 1. Watch a video What Can You Do? Then guess what we’ll learn today. 2. Leading in (Show a picture to the students.) T:What’s this? Ss:It’s a fish. T:A fish can swim. I can swim,too. Can you swim? Ss:Yes,I can. /No,I can’t. (Help the students to answer.) (Show another picture to the students.) T:The boy can sing. I can sing,too. Can you sing? Ss:Yes,I can. /No,I can’t. Step 2 Presentation (Show pictures to the students.) T:What’s this? Ss:It’s a guitar. T:Can you play the guitar? (板書) S1:Yes,I can. T:You can join the music club. Present the new words and phrases in the similar way. 1. Read the words and remember them. 2. Write the following words and phrases. 彈吉他 play the guitar 說英語 speak English 跳舞 dance 下國際象棋 play chess 游泳 swim 參加 join 唱歌 sing 畫畫 draw 俱樂部;社團(tuán)club 3. Look at the picture of 1a. What can these people do? Match the activities with the people. 4. Check the answers. Answers:1. e 2. g 3. d 4. b 5. c 6. a 7. f 5. Read the words and phrases in 1a and try to make sentences with them,talking about your own abilities with “can/can’t”. (Give some more examples if necessary.) Step 3 Practice T:I can sing. I want to join the music club. Can you sing? S1:No,I can’t. I can draw. I want to join the art club. T:Can you swim? S2:Yes,I can. I want to join the swimming club. T:Can you speak English? S3:Yes,I can. I want to join the English club. T:Can you play chess? S4:Yes,I can. I want to join the chess club. Ask the students to work in pairs. Step 4 Listening 1. Turn to page 1. Look at 1b. Listen and number the conversations [1-3]. 2. Check the answers. Answers:2,3,1 3. Listen again and fill in the missing words. Conversation 1A:I want to join the music club. B:Oh,can you sing?A:Yes,I can. Conversation 2A:Can you swim?B:No,I can’t. Conversation 3A:I want to join the art club. B:Can you draw?A:Yes,I can. 4. Listen to the conversations in 2a and circle the clubs you hear. (You can ask the students to look through the clubs before listening.) Check the answers. Answers:chess club,English club,music club 5. Listen again and complete the sentences in 2b. And then check the answers. Answers:1. chess,chess 2. English,English 3. sing,dance;music 6. Talk about the people’s abilities in 2b and the clubs they want to join like that in 2c. Then complete the sentences. (1)Lisa can’t play chess,but she wants to join the chess club. (2)Bob can speak English and he wants to join the English club. (3)Mary and Bob like music. They want to join the music club. Mary can sing and dance. Step 5 Pair work 1. Practice the conversations in 1b in pairs. 2. Make your own conversations. 3. Work in groups. (1)當(dāng)play和球類或棋類名詞搭配,表示“參與……”時(shí),球類或棋類名詞前不加冠詞;當(dāng)play和樂器類名詞搭配,表示“吹,拉,彈奏等”時(shí),樂器類名詞前必須加定冠詞the。 (2)can表示能力,意為“能;會(huì)”,沒有(有/沒有)人稱和數(shù)的變化,其后的動(dòng)詞用原形,其否定式是在can后面加not,一般疑問句要將can置于句首。 ?。?/span>3)speak的用法 ①speak作及物動(dòng)詞,后接語言類名詞,意為“說某種語言”。 The girl can speak English. 這個(gè)女孩會(huì)說英語。 ②speak作不及物動(dòng)詞時(shí),強(qiáng)調(diào)開口說話的能力、方式,有“發(fā)言,講話”之意。 I often speak at the meeting. 我經(jīng)常在會(huì)上發(fā)言。 (4)join的常見用法 ?、?/span>join表示“參加(某個(gè)組織或團(tuán)體,成為其成員)”。 —May I join the League? 我可以入團(tuán)嗎? —Certainly. 當(dāng)然可以。 ?、?/span>join sb. 表示“加入某(些)人的行列”。 If you plant trees tomorrow,may I join you? 如果你們明天植樹,我可以加入你們嗎? ?、邸?/span>join in+活動(dòng)”表示“參加活動(dòng)”,相當(dāng)于take part in。 May I join in your conversation? 我可以加入你們的談話嗎? Step 6 Additional task Make a survey with the drills “Can you...? ”“What club do you want to join? ” and fill in the following chart. Then give a report.
