Teaching aims:
1. Master language f daily greetings.

2. Be skilled in ral expressin f greetings.

He shuld/shuldn’t...
Analysis f key items and difficulties f teaching:
Functin: Greetings in students’ daily life.
Listening: Students can understand thers’ greetings by listening.
Speaking: Students can intrduce themselves and greet with thers.
Character building:
Mtivate students’ interest in learning English. Make friends with all students.
Teaching steps（教學(xué)步驟）
1. Vcabulary study:
Step 1: Play the recrding and have them pint ut the wrds and phrases in Activity 1.
Step 2: Play the recrding again and have them read after the tape.
Step 3: Have the students match the phrases and pictures in PPT.
Step 4: Have the students match the phrases and pictures in Activity6 and check their answer with their partner.
2. Dialgue study:
Step 1: Practice the dialgue with the whle class and have them make crrespnding reacts.
Step 2: Have students t practise the previus dialgue with their partner.
Play a game:
Invite Ss t practise the dialgues:
S1: I always feel tired and sleepy.
S2: Yu have a gd sleep.
S3: What’s wrng with yu?
S4: I always feel sad.
S3: Why?
S4: I dn’t get gd marks in all my subject.
S3: Yu shuldn’t watch t much TV.
3) T: What’s wrng with yu?
S: I have a fever. I feel sleepy.
T: Yu shuld drink mre water and have a gd sleep.
S: I knw, thank yu!

Each tw students in a grup t practice the dialgues:
S1: Yu shuldn’t smke.
S2: Oh!
S3: What’s matter with yu?
S4: I’ve gt a stmachache.
S3: Yu shuldn’t eat t much fish.
