本節(jié)課要求學生能夠談論大熊貓的外貌，性格，數(shù)量，生存現(xiàn)狀等事實，繼而從大熊貓瀕?，F(xiàn)狀出發(fā)，探究熊貓瀕危的原因，并找到拯救熊貓的方法。從熊貓野生動物的身份出發(fā)，深究保護野生動物的原因，并能幫忙制作海報宣傳。最后引發(fā)尊重每一個生命再到愛自然的主題升華。在閱讀中體現(xiàn)英語的學科素養(yǎng)。
活動2a是一個讀前活動，提供了一些有關(guān)大熊貓的詞匯，為2b的閱讀活動做好話題準備。2b要求學生閱讀文章，運用尋讀法，快速查找每個數(shù)字所表達的意義。并從熊貓現(xiàn)狀出發(fā)，敘述瀕危原因，描述保護方法。2c的讀后活動讓學生再次運用尋讀策略，根據(jù)問題所要求的信息點快速定位并找到答案。2d要求學生理解文本細節(jié)信息并運用文中的語言將相關(guān)句子補充完整。2e是一個開放性的問題，要求學生想出更多方法幫助拯救大熊貓，啟發(fā)學生思考。
學情分析及教學整體思路
學情分析
本班學生已經(jīng)掌握了如何去描述事實，對比事實，并且了解了大數(shù)字的用法。本班學生學習態(tài)度較認真，平板使用熟練，有一定的信息素養(yǎng)。大部分學生思維活躍，但思維深度不夠，需要教師在邏輯推理和批判評價能力上進行有效引導。多元的學習資源可以激發(fā)學生興趣，由淺入深的教學環(huán)節(jié)符合學生認知規(guī)律，信息技術(shù)的使用可以擴充課堂容量，滿足不同學生的學習需求，提高學習效率。
教學整體思路
把2a部分布置成預習作業(yè)，讓學生利用2a表格所給詞匯自選形式（文章，ppt，小品視頻，歌曲等）談論大熊貓。激發(fā)學生興趣并為閱讀文章做好準備。閱讀過程通過Scanning fr infrmatin,reading fr thinking，reading fr applying，deep thinking和integrating skills幾個環(huán)節(jié)完成學習理解，應用實踐和遷移創(chuàng)新的學習過程。從認識熊貓，保護熊貓，到愛熊貓，愛動物從而實現(xiàn)尊重生命，愛護自然的主題升華。本節(jié)課情節(jié)遞進，環(huán)環(huán)相扣，體現(xiàn)教學評的一致性，作業(yè)設計貫徹落實雙減政策，同時運用了平板電腦的翻翻卡，畫廊活動，學生講和拍照等功能，引起學生興趣，課堂生動活潑，擴大課堂容量，符合學生認知規(guī)律，體現(xiàn)學生課堂的主人公地位。2c和2d整合加入問題鏈貫穿整個閱讀過程。
